I began my painting journey over twenty years ago. It has brought so much meaning to my life, in fact, it is my reason for living. I love it so much I can hardly wait to get up in the morning and begin painting.

I learned to paint mostly on my own by studying books on painting, watching fine artists on TV, and through lots, and lots, of practice. I started out using oils but paint mostly in acrylics the last two years. I paint many different subjects that appeal to me and like to paint members of my family and others engaged in some kind activity.
I paint only for pleasure and do not sell any of my work.
I urge any senior who has no interests or hobbies to take up painting, you'll be surprised how it will uncover the artist in you!
