Probably not many of you gentle readers relate to that Title!
If you did, it would put you close to my generation, so may eliminate a huge sector of readers ..The truth is, it was a shocking article in, perhaps Harper's or Vogue in the 30's.
It decried the slavery to fashion, and the "latest quirk" to hit the scene , endeavoring to point out that the individual was being submerged in a mass produced commercial world.
I don't think it got very far, but was fun at the time and caused a lot of spirited cocktail party debate.
